D'Orsay Restaurant Pub

The D’Orsay is a go to for every trip to Quebec City. Their pub/restaurant has an array of great options for your dining needs. Don’t forget to try the mussels as they are out of this world. This is like finding an old English pub right in the middle of Quebec!

Very relaxing pub room sit and have a drink. The open air and well stocked bar really allow you to get away, but still enjoy the scenery. The beer selection was pretty good overall and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke english pretty well and made you feel right at home.

We stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner last June as we were traveling through the area during our 3 month tour of wonderful Canada. We couldn't have been more happy. Our server was attentive, courteous and friendly. We both went with D'Orsay Burgers. They were both juicy and well prepared. Our total bill came to $ 50 CAD ($ 36 USD). Highly recommend and would eat here again next time we are in the area.

Great pub/restaurant, we ate at the bar and our server was the bartender, he was super attendant to our needs and all the food was excellent. Cocktails were well made and the interaction with bartender was great. I will definitely return to this place

We had an emergency as soon as we sat down and the staff were really accommodating with us switching everything to go, they asked if we knew where the hospital was and offered to help. The food was good even though it was cold by the time we got to try it at the hospital. will have to come back when things are better!

This place is wonderful. My husband and I have been twice now and both times we have had great service! The drinks are fantastic and the bartender was excellent.

Charming regal pub. Clean and lively. Slot machines in the back if you are bored. I'd recommend it to friends.

This place was a great stop on my little trip to Quebec City. I started with a fantastic soup, and ended with the mussels. All I can say is WOW, I've never gotten a portion SO big in my life! Highly recommend. Will be back for sure when I'm in the city.

Fantastic service. The fish and chips were good but the best part of that was the salad. The Poor Mans Pudding was out of this world good. Our server, Hernan, was probably one of the best customer service people I have ever encountered.

It's a bar/restaurant. Very good burger. The soups, especially the seafood chowder, are amazing. Great selection of local beers, wine and mixed drinks. Friendly, bilingual (French and English) staff.

On arrival, after saying we were just there for drinks we were directed to sit at the bar, despite it being later in the evening with plenty of free tables. We were a group of 4 so this was quite inconvenient. The drinks were fine. When paying I was loudly asked how much I wanted to tip so the barman could type this into the machine - never experienced this in two years of living in Canada, not sure what is wrong with letting the customers input this themselves rather than forcing an announcement to the rest of the bar.

Been there twice. Both time ordered paella with seafood and sausage. It's unbelievably good and delicious. Will come back again if I have a chance. BTW, Lynn is one of the best waitresses. Thank you.

The worst of the service I ever had, they brought my soup and steak in a same time, and after finishing soup the steak was cold. Don’t loose your time with such bad services.

Lunch was enjoyable. Our table had a window opening to the street, great view. Mussels were excellent, as were the soups French Onion and Green Pea.

Great food. Great service and fantastic atmosphere. Had the steak and chips and was a generous serving. My wife had the chicken and veggies and that was a good serving too. Not a loud pub atmosphere at all. I think we'll be back.

Service was attentive and very excellent. The food came out quickly and was hot. I ordered the veggie burger and I was extremely satisfied with it.

The food was really good, maybe a bit expensive to be a pub. What i didn t like Is the woman that served us take andvatage of us, because we are tourist and She pretend from us the 15% of tips, telling us that was obbligatory in Canada

Great location, fantastic food, friendly staff, fair prices. Will absolutely visit again.I strongly suggest you try their chowder. Holy moly, it was the best one I've ever had. Blows all other chowders out of the water.

I had a wine and light dinner here during an overnight stay in Quebec City. The French Onion soup was good! Sneaky chips in the bottom were a yummy surprise. Staff were friendly but perhaps more staff members were needed - myself and others seated at the bar waited quite a long time to pay the bill

Nice pub with decent food and drinks... Atmosphere is very nice with tables raised up against the outer windows. Feels like you're sitting outside!

Lovely experience! The food was delicious, the serving sizes were large, and it is located in a prime location close to many tourist attractions. Our server Line was amazing. She made us feel very welcomed and provided excelled service, going above and beyond. I would definitely recommend visiting D'Orsay.

Tourist trap. I just had a very bizarre encounter. I ordered a cocktail. After some waiting time I got my drink. The server was very busy, and just brought the drinks and disappeared again. It looked different than on the photo, but still appetizing, so not trying to be difficult, I just had a go. It tasted nice, so I had a few sips. And thought:misunderstanding happens but it’s tasty so i am not going to be a difficult customer. Cost was not a problem, all cocktails were similar price. Then out of of a blue, the server appears, steps on my BF toes, grabs my glass and shouts “this is not yours !”, “did you drink it?”, i was speachless and just nodded. Without any further comment he disappeared in the kitchen with my drink. Only to appear few seconds later with a bit topped up glass and served a drink to another table. Then he brought my drink.I would be happy just to finish and pay for my first drink, but I was not given any opportunity to discuss this.

You may have to wait for a bit when it's busy, and it's better to let them know when you are ready to order. Service is still professional and passionate. Traditional poutine is a recommendation, so is the beef tartar (almost excellent). Soups are generally well made with fresh ingredients. Burgers and pasta are both pretty good, but the steak needs to be improved for its quality and sizing. The steak may disappoint you. Btw, the fried chicken really tastes like Tongkatsu, which in fact is not bad at all.

Food was good. Ok service. We sat at the bar it was busy lunch hour, we had clams with fries and beer and wine. We liked it but I think sitting at a booth would have been a better way to enjoy the place and the food.

Me and some friends went there for lunch service. We were immediately given a table and our drinks were served. The waiters were all super nice, and our food was served in a timely manner. (15mins) I ordered a burger, and it was really good. The fries are also good too. I am definitely going again.

This was by far my boyfriend and my FAVORITE resturant we went to in Quebec. I'm still drolling over my vegetarian pasta meal and that raspberry martini (I could have drank 3 or 4). Our waiter spoke English and Communication was not difficult. We did make a reservation and would recommend the same to others if they dont want to wait. Wanted to go back to dinner the next night here, it was that good!!

What an awesome place!Great ambience, jazz and blues music, mixed classic/modern design.The chowder and the seafood fettuccine were amazing, and worth every penny of their quite substantial price tag. And the creme brulee it's worth coming back again!
